Thank you to all who joined the recent IEEE<\/a> PES #<\/span>webinar<\/a> exploring how #<\/span>multiportconverters<\/a> can address the evolving challenges of modern distribution #<\/span>grids<\/a> including the integration of renewables and their modelling.<\/p>\n

The session featured key insights from the iPLUG-HE<\/a> project speakers Ahmed Yahia Farag<\/a> from Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Padova<\/a>, Antonio Pepiciello<\/a> from IREC – Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya<\/a>, Marc Cheah Ma\u00f1\u00e9<\/a> from Escola T\u00e8cnica Superior d’Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona <\/a>and Mebtu Bihonegn Beza<\/a> from Chalmers University of Technology<\/a> covering advanced #<\/span>converter<\/a> topologies, control strategies, and system-level design for #<\/span>LV<\/a> and #<\/span>MV<\/a> applications.<\/p>\n

The discussion emphasized the importance of robust #<\/span>modelling<\/a>, coordinated control and EU-led innovation to support a smarter and more resilient #<\/span>grid<\/a>.<\/p>\n
