Two weeks ago, Marti Dominguez from CITCEA-UPC<\/a><\/span><\/strong> presented at the HVDC Colloquium held at ETSEIB, UPC.<\/p>\n

This colloquium is organized by\u00a0<\/span>Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>KU Leuven<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Imperial College London<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Cardiff University \/ Prifysgol Caerdydd<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Centrale Lille<\/a> and it was a great opportunity to share research between academics in the electronic grid field and more specifically in the HVDC field.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mart\u00ed presented his progress in the\u00a0<\/span>iPLUG-HE<\/a> project with a presentation entitled <\/span>“Comparison of control strategies for a non-isolated MMC<\/em> Multiport Converter”,<\/em> in which a comparison in abnormal grid conditions between two different control architectures of a Multiport Converter based on Modular Multilevel Converters (MMCs) was presented.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The HVDC colloquium provided a unique opportunity not only presenting iPLUG’s work but also to engage with fellow experts, exchange ideas, and stay at the forefront of the latest developments in the electronic grid domain.<\/p>\n

The insights gained from this event will undoubtedly fuel the continued success of our project.<\/p>\n
